Our monthly meeting was held on July 15.  Minutes of the last meeting were  read and approved.  The financial report was read.  There were no comments.   Attendance was average.  I would like to see and meet more of the members of Post 325 at our meetings.  Some of the items discussed were:  approval of two transfers, no new members at this time.  Our Post 325 was awarded a trophy at the State Convention for our record renewal rate of 124%.  Post Commander Debbie Roush was elected Vice Commander of District 8.  The charter for the Woman's Auxiliary of Post 325 was approved.  Applications are available at the Post. There was discussion on planning upcoming events so as not to conflict with the VFW plans.  A yearly calendar is planned to do this.  Former Chaplin Jon Deacon was awarded a clock for his effort in obtaining our renewal rate.

On another note, the installation of Post Officers of Post 325 and Officers of SAL Squadron 325 was held on July 10, 2010.  There was a large turnout and a lot of District Officers were in attendance.  Afterwards, there was food and drinks.  Thanks to all who helped put this event on.
